The Ventura County Sheriff Department released the following information about crime in Camarillo…

Sometime between Aug. 17 and 18, a vandal caused $1,000 in damage to a car parked near Saturn and Shalimar streets.

Sometime between Aug. 17 and 18, a purse was stolen from a locker room at St. John’s Pleasant Valley Hospital, 2309 Antonio Ave. The victim reported $150 in stolen property.

A 24-year-old man was arrested Aug. 18 in the 1400 block of Calle La Cumbre on felony charges of domestic violence and violating a court order.

Two men, ages 31 and 29, were arrested Aug. 18 on charges of burglary and conspiracy to commit a crime at the Kmart store, 940 Arneill Road.

A 25-year-old man was arrested Aug. 18 in the 2300 block of Antonio Avenue on two misdemeanor drug charges. The man was also on parole.

A 33-year-old man was assaulted by unknown assailants Aug. 18 in the 700 block of Paseo Camarillo.

A 29-year-old man was arrested Aug. 19 on charges of hit and run while driving under the influence of a controlled substance. The accident occurred near Ventura Boulevard and the 101 Freeway.

Sometime between Aug. 19 and 20, a car parked in the 500 block of Ashdale Court was burglarized. The victim reported $2,195 in damage and stolen property.

About $600 in property was stolen from an unlocked car parked in the driveway of a home in the 400 block of Sereno Place sometime between Aug. 19 and 20.

A vandal caused less than $400 in damage to a men’s bathroom at a park in the 1200 block of Sweetwater Avenue on Aug. 20.

A reported $100 in property was stolen from an unlocked home in the 5300 block of Fieldcrest Drive on Aug. 20 sometime between 4:40 and 4:50 a.m. A 16-year-old male was arrested for the burglary.

A 38-year-old man was arrested Aug. 20 in the 200 block of Riverdale Court on charges of domestic battery.

A 24-year-old woman was arrested Aug. 21 for shoplifting at the Kmart store, 940 Arneill Road
